Trinity Business School is the internationally recognised business school of Trinity College Dublin, Ireland’s leading university. Founded in 1925, the School celebrated 100 years of business education in 2025. From an initial cohort of just 17 students, it has evolved into a globally focused institution that combines academic excellence, cutting-edge research and strong industry engagement to prepare responsible leaders for an increasingly complex world.

Its mission, Transform Business for Good, is at the heart of its Horizon 2030 strategy, which integrates responsible leadership, sustainability and innovation across teaching, research and operations. The School promotes ethical decision-making, responsible technology, inclusion and lifelong learning, ensuring graduates are equipped to create positive economic and societal impact.

This philosophy shapes the learning experience. Sustainability, ethics and emerging technologies are embedded throughout the curriculum rather than treated as isolated subjects. Students develop the critical thinking, ethical judgement and systems perspective needed to address uncertainty, manage complexity and lead organisations responsibly.

Located in the centre of Dublin, Trinity Business School combines the heritage of Trinity College’s historic campus with its state-of-the-art €80 million building, opened in 2019. The School benefits from its location within one of Europe’s most dynamic business ecosystems, close to the European headquarters of leading multinational technology companies, the International Financial Services Centre, professional services firms and a vibrant start-up community. This environment provides students with exceptional opportunities for networking, entrepreneurship and direct engagement with industry.

Trinity Business School holds the prestigious Triple Crown accreditation (AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS), an achievement held by fewer than one per cent of business schools worldwide. It also holds the Athena Swan Bronze Award, recognising its commitment to gender equality. Its international reputation is reflected in the Financial Times and QS rankings, with its Full-Time MBA, Executive MBA and Flexible Executive MBA consistently ranked first or joint first in Ireland, while several specialist MSc programmes are recognised among the world’s best.

The School’s faculty includes 66 core academics and 91 adjunct faculty members who combine internationally recognised research with extensive professional experience. Students learn from leading scholars, senior executives and entrepreneurs across disciplines including business analytics, finance, marketing, strategy, entrepreneurship, international business, leadership and sustainable management. Teaching combines rigorous academic research with practical business application to prepare graduates for real-world leadership.

Trinity Business School fosters a highly international community of students, researchers, executives and alumni. Learning extends beyond the classroom through case studies, team projects, consultancy assignments and close collaboration with employers. Partnerships with multinational corporations, SMEs, start-ups, public organisations and social enterprises provide valuable opportunities for recruitment, applied research, executive education and industry engagement.

The School offers a comprehensive portfolio of undergraduate, specialist Master’s, doctoral and executive programmes, including the Full-Time MBA, Executive MBA and Flexible Executive MBA, alongside Executive Education for individuals and organisations. Flexible delivery formats—including full-time, part-time, online, hybrid and on-campus options—allow professionals at different career stages to benefit from Trinity’s internationally recognised education.

The Trinity MBA portfolio develops globally minded leaders through an integrated combination of management knowledge, leadership development, applied learning and personalised career support. The one-year Full-Time MBA is designed for professionals seeking career acceleration or transition, while the two-year Executive MBA and Flexible Executive MBA enable experienced executives to continue working while studying through campus-based or blended learning formats.

Research and innovation remain central to the School’s impact. Through centres such as the Trinity Centre for Social Innovation, Trinity Centre for Digital Business & Analytics, Trinity Corporate Governance Lab and Trinity AI XR Hub, faculty collaborate with business, government and society on research addressing sustainability, responsible business, digital transformation, governance, leadership, finance and the responsible application of artificial intelligence.
