Carolina Napoleão, (Brazilian), MBA class of 2019, Imperial College Business School, United Kingdom
“After I graduated from my Bachelor’s degree in mechanical industrial engineering, I joined the largest airline company in South America, allowing me to work in several countries and live as an expatriate in Santiago, Chile, for more than three years. In 2018 I decided to pursue a Full-Time MBA at Imperial College Business School to improve my leadership skills, explore new industries and build a solid network of potential leaders, with whom I could develop future endeavours to progress our professional and personal goals. Back then I did not know how the class of 2019 would turn out to be my family across the globe. After graduation, I joined DiDi Chuxing, the fastest growing mobility company, as Operation Manager for the Colombian market. Now, after a year in the company, I am responsible for Product Operations for Middle America and the Caribbean, leading a multicultural cross-functional team based in four different countries. Without a doubt, Imperial was a life-changing experience, my cohort and the activities that the MBA threw at me made me more confident and prepared for the challenges ahead”.
