Accreditation
Insper belongs to the select group of business schools in the world, less than 1%, which have the Triple Crown (AMBA + AACSB + EQUIS). Accreditation reinforces Insper’s teaching quality among the best business schools in the world.
Insper’s mission is to promote the transformation of Brazil through educating innovative leaders and applied research – acting with academic excellence and an integrated vision of knowledge that transcends traditional academic disciplines. To reach this goal, Insper reinvests all its operational results.
In teaching, the school aspires to be close to the frontier of managing the learning process, the cross-functionality, and the pursuit of teaching-learning strategies that are the most effective for developing the competencies for the knowledge fields.
In the generation of knowledge, Insper will be at the frontier of the application of research methods that use the modern techniques of statistics and computing in the handling and analysis of large databases, together with strategies to identify causal relationships and behavioral models to analyze specific problems in the different knowledge fields in which it operates.
For that, Insper develops and disseminates, through different channels, articles, papers, books, webinars, podcasts, and newsletters on topics relevant to the public debate. The school has 13 research centers and 5 endowed chairs – over the past ten years, these centers contributed to the publication of 1,100 articles in Brazil and abroad, 150 books, and 471 book chapters. And these numbers continue to grow – only in 2023, 152 articles, 41 books, and 103 book chapters were published.
Insper’s student is placed as a protagonist. They are taught with strong analytical backgrounds and socio-emotional skills and participate in competitions, research, vacation internships, training, and international experiences. The school currently has 3,516 students and 31,922 alumni.
In terms of international experiences, Insper offers students this opportunity during their undergraduate or graduate studies on campus, at universities abroad, or via remote activities, which are instrumental to their social and cultural development. Internationalization is a process that permeates Insper from its strategic plan to the day-to-day work of its students, professors, and employees. Thinking globally and acting locally are two dilemmas the school embraces, reflecting its commitment to the country’s development.
