AMBA & BGA Accreditation Forum 2021 – 15-18 November 2021 Virtual

AMBA & BGA‘s Accreditation Forum takes place every year and is specifically designed to help prepare accreditation professionals at Business Schools that are applying for AMBA and/or BGA accreditation or re-accreditation.

The event is designed for Business Schools considering or undergoing AMBA and/or BGA accreditation; Business Schools seeking an understanding of the role of AMBA and/or BGA accreditation as a quality assurance mechanisms for Business Schools; or those seeking an in-depth understanding of AMBA and/or BGA accreditation.

Accreditation is at the heart of AMBA’s commitment to maintaining standards and fostering innovation in global postgraduate management education.

AMBA accredits MBA, DBA, and master’s programmes at more than 280 Business Schools in over 75 countries and AMBA’s accreditation philosophy is centred on impact, employability and learning outcomes. Our rigorous accreditation criteria and assessment process ensure only programmes that demonstrate the highest standards in teaching, learning and curriculum design; career development and employability; student, alumni and employer interaction, achieve AMBA accreditation.

Our accreditation is international in scope and reach and we work with senior academics at leading global educational institutions to continuously update our accreditation policies and maintain our unique, in-depth, and detailed approach. This reflects our commitment to fostering innovation and challenges and encourages Business Schools to continuously perform at the highest level.

The content of the forum will be led by a team of expert accreditors and guest speakers who will share their knowledge and insights, and will cover: 

  • the structure of the accreditation process
  • what it takes to make an accreditation submission successful
  • best practices of successful Schools
  • challenges Business Schools face – and proposed solutions
  • marketing and communicating your accreditation to key audiences
  • current and future trends in business and management education.

Newly accredited and re-accredited Business Schools will talk through their accreditation experience, sharing insights into how they managed the process as well.

Experienced AMBA assessors and panel chairs will highlight the details that can make a difference in ensuring that  Schools are presented in their best light during the accreditation process.

Delegates will hear from a selection of ‘triple crown’ accredited Schools about how they manage multiple accreditation processes successfully, working with a range of accreditation bodies. We will cover practical tips, techniques and strategies used in order to secure – and retain – multiple accreditations, as well as ideas on how to use this accreditation to maximum effect in terms of marketing, PR, recruitment and industry collaboration.
